Detailed analysis of Thriller Clip

The thriller clip that I chose to analyse was the film 'Heat'. Through out the clip, the lighting is very dim and show alot of shadows which creates a scary effect. I was immidatley intrigued as the second shot of the clip is a close up of a gun which says to me there is going to be alot of action within this film. The non digetic music used creates tension as it is a long drone, also every now and again there is a 'woosh' of sound. This keeps the audience's attention fixed to the clip. Also, there is some key moments of conversation that is played over the non digetic music which gives the audience an idea about what the film is about.
