As a group, we decided to use a kettle to represent calmness. We felt that 'having a cup of tea' is traditionally shown to 'calm' a situation or to have a break. Calmness is defined as composure: steadiness of mind under stress. Calmness is the mental state of being free from agitation, excitement, or disturbance. Therefore we felt that a kettle is a unique way of portraying calmness.
